Puso Dithejane explained on why he joined the MLS outfits Chicago Fire
*Orlando Pirates have received a massive boost to their technical team* with goalkeeper coach *Tyron Damons* included in the Buccaneers' travelling contingent to Spain.
The Sea Robbers are currently in *Marbella* for their pre-season training camp, and the return of Damons comes as welcome news following his long spell on the sidelines.
Back in action after horror accident
Damons was *seriously injured in a road traffic incident on the R21 highway in late August 2025*. The accident kept him out of action for months and forced him to miss a big part of Pirates' 2025/26 campaign.
His presence in Marbella now confirms that the respected GK coach has made a full recovery and is ready to resume duties with the club’s goalkeepers.
Why it matters for the Buccaneers
With the new PSL season and CAF Champions League campaign looming, having Damons back is huge for Pirates' goalkeeping department.
The Spain camp will be key for fitness and tactical work, and Damons' return adds experience and stability to coach Wadu technical team.
