GOODMAN MOSELE JOINS CHIPPA UNITED ON PERMANENT DEAL  Chippa United have completed the signing of Goodman Mosele on a permanent deal from Orlando Pirates, iDiski Times has reported. The move ends the midfielder’s four-year association with the Buccaneers and sees him return to the Eastern Cape club on a full-time basis. Mosele was initially scheduled to join Durban City on a season-long loan, but Chippa United hijacked the deal and moved to secure the 26-year-old permanently. Mosele joined Orlando Pirates in 2021 but struggled to nail down a regular starting spot at Mayfair.  The Midfielder made 53 appearances in the black and white of Pirates, but spent the majority of his time out on loan gaining game time at Chippa. During his various loan spells at Chippa United, Mosele turned out 55 times for the Chilli Boys and impressed enough for the club to push for a permanent transfer. An official unveiling is expected from Chippa United in the coming days.

Makhanya’s camp, however, feels the club went back on its word and are now blocking a deserved step up to Europe. Scottish giants Rangers FC also entered the picture, having *reached out to both Makhanya and the Union* to register their interest.
