Faiz Abrahams Reveals Duba Advice Behind Stunning Free-Kick For Kaizer Chiefs

Faiz Abrahams for Kaizer Chiefs goal

Kaizer Chiefs winger Faiz Abrahams has reacted to his stunning free-kick which led to the club's 3-2 winner against Siwelele FC.

The youngster delivered a brilliant set-piece that caused chaos in the Siwelele box, leading to Amakhosi's winning goal in the hard-fought victory.

Speaking after the match, Abrahams revealed teammate Wandile Duba told him to go for goal instead of crossing.

> “When I went to take the free kick, (Wandile) Duba told me not to cross the ball for anyone but to try and score,” the winger revealed.

The 20-year-old said the moment was special for him after working hard in training to improve his set-pieces.

> “It felt great because I have been working very hard. I’m just going to keep working hard and giving my all in training. I aim to stay consistent and always keep my performance levels up," he said.

Abrahams will now be hoping to keep his place when Chiefs face Polokwane City.

> “The coach will set a plan for this weekend, and we will go out and execute it," Abrahams said about facing Polokwane City at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium this Saturday.

Chiefs will be looking to make it back-to-back wins when they travel to Polokwane.
