Manqoba Mngqithi Wins First Trophy With Young Africans, Beats Steve Barker’s Simba

Manqoba Mngqithi has lifted his first piece of silverware since leaving Mamelodi Sundowns, guiding Young Africans to a 1-0 win over Simba SC in the Tanzanian Community Shield.

It's a proud moment for Bafana fans to see a South African coach get off to a winning start abroad. "Mngqithi" outsmarted Simba and showed that SA coaching can compete at the highest level in Africa.

But it's also bittersweet.
