Stellenbosch give green light for Titus to join Maghreb de Fes
Devin Titus is on the verge of a move abroad after Stellenbosch FC struck a deal with Moroccan giants Maghreb de Fes, reported SABC Sport.
The 26-year-old winger is set for a switch to the Botola Pro champions. Maghreb have already brought in fellow Bafana striker Tshegofatso Mabasa on a free, and Titus could now join him.
A product of the Stellies academy, Titus has spent the last six years at the Cape Winelands club and only recently put pen to paper on a new contract.
It’s understood Maghreb de Fes have activated a release clause in his new deal. The transfer will be completed once Titus finalizes personal terms and passes his medical.
If the move goes through, Titus will be the second South African in the Maghreb squad. He’s expected to bring speed and experience as the club targets success locally and in Africa.
